Nitrous Oxide
Inhalation Sedation (Laughing Gas)
More commonly known as Laughing Gas, Nitrous-Oxide is a colorless, odorless gas that is mixed with Oxygen and inhaled through a small mask placed over the nose. Light sedation is achieved while the gasses are being administered and wear off completely within minutes of it being stopped. Generally, the patient is able to be discharged after treatment without an escort or restrictions on driving, working, etc.
