Meet Dr. Davis

Dr. Peter Davis, a Lewiston native, left Maine at the age of 14 to embark on his education by attending the Loomis Chaffee School, a college preparatory boarding school in Connecticut. Coming full circle sixteen years later, upon graduating from Tufts Dental School in 2000, Dr. Davis joined his father’s (Dr. James G. Davis (ret.)) general dental practice back in Lewiston. In 2004, he and his wife, Dr. Michelle, whom he met at Tufts, purchased the practice and re-organized it as Central Maine Dental Health and Implant Center. Dr. Davis resides in Falmouth with his wife, Dr. Michelle, and their 18 dogs. He enjoys traveling, RV-ing and recreational flying all over New England out of the Portland Jetport (PWM).

Clinical Interests

Clinical interests include all aspects of general dentistry with an emphasis on dental implant-related surgery, advanced bone grafting, soft-tissue surgery, implant placement and restoration with or without the use of multiple drug enteral and/or parenteral sedation/anesthesia techniques. He is committed to an extremely high level and aggressive schedule of ongoing continuing education in order to provide his patients the very best dentistry has to offer. He strongly believes that for as long as one lives, one has more to learn.
