When a patient loses a single tooth, or multiple teeth for whatever reason, it is often possible to replace these teeth with a removable partial denture.  A removable partial denture is a device which utilizes a metal or acrylic framework with clasps that anchor it securely to your existing teeth.  Unlike a fixed bridge, which is cemented firmly in place, a partial denture is removable.

For those patients who have either lost all their teeth or will be having them extracted, whether on just the top or bottom, or both, a complete denture is an option.  A complete denture is a removable prosthesis designed to replace all of the teeth on the arch with artificial teeth.
