i-Cat 3-D Imaging

We are excited to offer advanced 3-D imaging services though our subsidiary, Portland Craniofacial Digital Imaging Center, to patients, dentists and other medical professionals in the state of Maine. Images are taken and processed by an i-Cat Platinum CBCT scanner. This top-of-the-line wide field unit is the most sophisticated and only one of its kind in New England.

The i-Cat CBCT scanner produces high-resolution images with low radiation exposure. All images are reviewed for pathology by a Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Radiologist as part of the service. The images will accurately reveal details such as dental caries, bony pathology, endodontic lesions, fractures, as well as anything between the base of the chin to the top of the orbits.
